- Date & Time: Thursday, Feb. 16th, 12:00-2:00 PM
- Cost: $33 in advance, $40 at the door (please RSVP if you plan to pay at the door)
- RSVP: chana@babybites.com
If you are either pregnant with your #2 OR have just given birth to your #2, we hope you will join us for this special 2nd Time Moms Luncheon, where we will have not one, but two experienced moms of two offering tips, advice, and support, and answering all of your questions relating to this big transition…with a focus of our time dedicated to your sleep/sharing a room questions (because we know that’s a topic that is of concern to many parents).
Rachel Cedar who runs You Plus Two Parenting, a company dedicated to helping moms transition from 1 to 2 will be co-facilitating this discussion along with Chana Balk, who runs babybites Brooklyn and Move It Momma.
Come with your baby (#2′s only — sorry, the toddlers/preschoolers are not invited this time) and your questions — we’ll start the conversation by going around the room, hearing the questions/topics on YOUR mind.
Plus . . . enjoy a delicious lunch, get some quality time with your #2, meet other second time moms, and get to vent about how you’re supposed to stay up all night with a newborn and then be ready for a 2 year old at 6 am (argh!!!).
We look forward to seeing you there!

Babywearing 101
Are you confused by the multiple babywearing options out there? Want to know how to properly wear that sling or wrap that you got as a gift but have been afraid to use since the baby was born? Interested in learning what babywearing options are best for you and your baby, now and as your little one gets bigger?
If so, then we hope you will join us for this special luncheon, where Megan Davidson and Piper Harrell, local doulas, babywearing educators and mothers, will teach you everything you want to know about babywearing.
With so many options on the market, Megan and Piper will offer a hands-on demonstration to help you to pick a carrier that will work for your body (and for your partner’s), or teach you how to better use carriers you might already have (please bring your carriers along!).
A wide variety of baby carriers, including wraps, pouches and ring slings, and soft-structured carriers will be demonstrated and available for you to try on. Megan and Piper will help you to build your skills and confidence for wearing your newborn, infant, toddler or child!
Expectant moms welcome too!

Dr. Frank will leave plenty of time to answer all the questions you may have (including relating to sleep — every new mom’s favorite topic of conversation).
One lucky mom will take home a baby deedee — an amazing new baby duvet sleeping bag that features clever shoulder snaps that make it easy to put baby in the sleep nest, even when asleep.
Every mom will take home a small gift from Boon.
